The Joined-Up Data Standards (JUDS) project ennunciated this 5 principles in terms of concrete guidance when it comes to a commonly recognised list of principles for interoperability – the ability to access and process data from multiple sources without losing meaning, and integrate them for mapping, visualisation, and other forms of analysis – at a global level.
